Zombieland: or good movie, but not as good as Shaun of the Dead

I saw Zombieland with my dad today (my DAD wanted to see this y’all, ain’t he the grooviest?) and it was funny and gory and pretty good, but it’s hard not to compare it to Shaun of the Dead, one of the best movies eva. So that being said, Zombieland is worth seeing so long as you keep in mind that there is already a better version out there.

Jesse Eisenberg was funny, he’s neurotic and awkward; basically he is Michael Cera. They should be in a movie together. I bet everyone would get confused about which one was which though. “WHY ARE THERE TWO MICHAEL CERAS?!” (I assume everyone would think they were both Michael Cera because he is the more famous one.) And then Youth in Revolt would come out and everyone’s heads would explode.

Woody Harrelson was funny too, my dad laughed at pretty much everything he said so you know it was funny (my dad is a good funny meter).

Woody and Jesse look confused. They probably just spotted Michael Cera.

Someone just spotted Michael Cera!

So far as actually surviving a zombie attack (because I am an expert on surviving zombie attacks) they did some pretty dumbass things (going to highly populated areas, turning on all the lights and music at a theme park), but oh well, its more about the laffs.

I completely agree! I liked Zombieland muchly, but it totz doesn’t compare to Sean of the Dead (not much does though).

For supposedly sharp and cunning women those two were ridiculously stupid for going to an amusement park and turning on all the lights. WTF did they think was going to happen?
    A) Zombies will come and run the rids for you.
    B) Zombies will magically not hear the noise and see the lights and ignore what would be most probably they’re last fresh meal.
    C) Zombies will try to eat you.

The rules that were so important to Michael Cera-lite obviously had no place at the end of the movie.

Brightside: It made for an epic Woody Harrelson scene in the little game hut.

Seriously! Very stupid plan considering they have survived for so long. “Michael Cera-lite”=Haha!

Nice review, I took my son and a friend to see Zombieland last weekend and loved it as well.

I am not a fan of zombie movies, but I felt this would appeal to any age group. Good cast, excellent writing, and effects.
